A couple of drinks at the top of the stairs of the Old Church, Meanee. After which the ‘drinkers’ would have to make their way down.
Keeping the tuba well lubricated.
Probably time for another beer. There were standing orders for the band to have a beer supply every thirty minutes. It was hot work playing in that church, even late in the day.
