When the John Roberts store first started, it was located down the hill in the location where the Countdown supermarket sits today. It moved up to East Coast Bays road when the hotel and stores near Milford central were torn down to make way for the supermarket.
Sam now runs the store his father once owned. However, the store was started by John Roberts and the name hasn’t changed.
