Well I started out Goldilocks yesterday, and then tried to finish it by night.
Chaos ensued. I dropped paint all over. And that would have scared me before. Instead I just dabbed up the paint and waited for sunlight. But the rain came next morning 🙂 Ah, well. So I continued nonetheless. And today lookee what we have.
It’s easy to get deflated, especially when you’re starting out, but after a while it doesn’t bother you when you spill paint or make a mistake. Most stuff can be covered up.
By the way, can you spot what’s missing?
It’s the little things. Like pebbles on the road. Or having Goldilocks’ hood strings in a white shade (instead of black). Things like a little light on the rock, or slightly faded flowers in the grass, for instance. These little things matter.
They really do.
